Hello all,

As i have made 5V output from 24V input using LM25085MY/NOPB Buck Switching Controller.

I got Ringing effect on output of the 5V.
Here i have attached Image of that.
Can i suppress that effect using ferrite bead ?
if yes then how can i select that bead ?

you can use 0.3E/1A ferriet bead, with 10uf & 0.1uf capacitor at both ends of bead and ground the another terminal of capacitor. this works fine for me.

Hi kelvinmanoj

How did you selected parameters of the bead ?
Have you simulate this in any software or anything else ?
Please give me method or reason behind this particular values of cap and bead.

can u take this in larger time scale(ex 10us/div). whether this ringing is periodic? Need to see your schematic/layout. See the control loop stability

Dear malli_1729

Yes ringing is periodic and i have used schematic which is suggested by webench of TI.Even i have used same part number.

here i attached that schematic. Sorry if it is not clearly visible.

attachment is invalid. With what frequency this ripple is periodic?

Hi ,
here i am reattaching the schematic.que3_rep.JPG
