ibis to spice converter

hello

Do anyone know about IBIS to SPICE converter for free download which should be entirely compatible with the simulation of PSPICE (OrCAD), EDSPICE (EDWinXP) etc

I spent quite good amount of time in figuring this out. Most of IBIS today are 3.2 versions and I was having difficulty in simulating them in cadence or pspice. My intention was to simulate a discrete component.

I found out that Microcap (demo version) can do the job. Here are the details.

Well IBIS to PSPICE converter is there with 16.6 version of ORCAD (Available under model editor). I think it supports upto IBIS version 4.0. Looks like it is not free and available under license.

I was looking for free stuff...why pay when its free ;)

BTW, I was having trouble with ORCAD model editor. It was not able to find binary/script for doing the translation. You might be right that it does not come free with demo version, I am not sure. Why highlight it when it is not available. Atleast error message should be clear that you dont have proper license and things like that.
