currently i am involved in an antenna design using XFDTD. can easily get the patter and the return loss plots. the question is whether it is possible to obtain
the TRP total radiated power in order to calculate the efficiency of the antenna.
if XFDTD cannot, HFSS can or not? anybody is experienced in such topics can raise comments? thanks a lot........

XFDTD gives you the radiated power and antenna efficiency information under "Steady State" slide. In order to get right radiated power, you have to change the excitation voltage accordingly.
Of course HFSS can do the job. Just keep in mind that HFSS normalizes the input power to 1W.
