Hi.,

Am working on 12V relays and ULN 2003 using ATMega16.
The simulated model attached.

**broken link removed**

Is this schematic correct?
Relay is switched in the simulation but not in hardware.

Output (1C) pin of ULN2003 is not varying, it is constant 12 V.
Note: Power supply given to the relay 12V DC 0.5 Amps.

What's the error? What should I do to fix it?

Please do help.
Thank you.

Hi Murali_dece,

Yes I did connected the 8th pin of ULN2003 to negative of 12V.

Hi BenJons01,

Am using it for switching the cylinders in Injection Molding Machine.
My project is automating the semi-automatic injection molding machine.

I'l have a 12V DC solenoid switch & using a 12V relay(which is basically a switch) can control it.
It's not advisable to connect a relay straight to a microcontroller so we're going for ULN 2003 IC which is a relay driver IC.

Hi,
you have to confirm the operation of both uln2003 and micro controller. isolate the pin-1 of 2003 and apply 5v directly to check its operation. if its operation is fine you have to check the Mc output port configuration
