Peace be upon you.
i want to make 500 watt 3 phase sine wave inverter 12V to 220v using PIC micro controller.
i have some questions about it.
1. which microcontroller is suitable for this project.
2. is it possible to simulate this circuit in Proteus (because i have not found any model of 3 phase transformer in proteus).
3.what is suitable frequency for PWM 10khz or 20khz etc.
4. what is better 12v or 24volt.

You will draw twice as much current at 12V.
Your cables must be thicker.
Your transformer primary will need thicker wires.
Your switching devices need to be more robust.

You'll have greater I^2 * R losses. Being raised to the second power, it means power (watt) losses will be exponentially higher. Heating effect will be exponentially greater.

This includes Peukert effect which will cause your 12V battery bank to last for less time than a 24V bank.

In favor of 12V...
Many more appliances are made to operate on 12V, as compared to 24V.

1. which microcontroller is suitable for this project.

I working on three phase voltage regulator for mini hydro-energetic plant, I use PIC18F4520 (one for all three phases). I'm sure that this mcu will be enough powerfull for your application.

3.what is suitable frequency for PWM 10khz or 20khz etc.

Always use 20k+ frequency. 10k will produce irritating sound.

4. what is better 12v or 24volt.
Apsolutely agree with BradtheRad

Best regards,

Mr.Cube

Thank you mr BradtheRad
according to your kind guidance 24v are suitable.
also thanks mr mrcube_ns
20 khz + frequency is suitable.
but what about 18f4520. it has only 2 pwm channels. i need minimum 3 PWM channels.

One more question . Pic 18f4520 has 40Mhz max frequency. will it able to generate 30khz pwm with resulation of 100.

Is this power stage suitable for 3phase inverter .

please guide me about this design.
