two separate PCB in one sheet

Hi,
I want to reduce manufacturing cost so I decided like in Altium designer create one sheet that exist two separate PCB that I draw before.In altium designer by using keep out layer, I could delineate each board size and then simply I copy both PCB and paste them in new PCB sheet and when I sent it to manufacture without any problem they separate two PCB, I think it is possible in cadence allegro but I don't know how I can do this.
Any help would be greatly appreciated,

hi asadi,
you can do but reference designator should be different for example board 1 (consider R1)reference should not come on or same as board 2
 
Panelise the two separate designs at the Gerber stage to create a panel with one, two or more designs on, that's how we have done it for many years.
 
Hi Asadi,

I agree with marce. It is a good practice to panelise the Gerber of both your boards and send it for manufacture.
Don't Mix it up in your design.

You need a decent software for handling Gerbers such as CAM350, or better still produce a drawing showing the board outlines in the panel and ask your PCB manufacturer to panelise the Gerber data for you.
 

communicate your needs with PCB fabricator,rest of the thing they may do...
