In most of the SMPS flyback design tools the maximum input voltage is limited to 265v whats the reason????I need to design a smps which have atleast max input voltage of 300v ac. so whats the precaution i have to take when exceeding 265v?????

Make sure your primary FET can handle the higher mains voltage and reflected voltage, I suppose. Increase max source-drain voltage or re-dimension your snubber...
