help for a programmer on how to connect pins to a PIC program

Hello....!!

i am hopeful you people will be fine and happy too.:smile:

i am wan to ask one thing that i made a programmer PCB and attach all the components on it.
the layout is given in attachment.

but i dont know how to connects it output pins to PIC for sake to program my pic controller.

please guide me.

Check with normal programmer connections like pic kit 2 or ICD3 etc..

unfortunately I couldn't able to open ur file here.

try these pin connections
Pin 1 ---> MCLR
Pin 2 ---> VDD
Pin 3 ---> VSS
Pin 4 ---> PGD
Pin 5 ---> PGC

in pic18f452 2 Vss and VDD.
then i must short first and then program?

This programmer can be used for in-circuit-programming in which case VSS's and VDD's of PIC would already be connected to system's power rails
otherwise you can use with only one VDD and one VSS - it should work but it's better to short them.
