Hi,

I need to rotate a unipolar stepper motor 10 steps in cw direction and then 10 steps ccw direction to bring it back to the 1st position. But when I give the sequence ABCD (cw) and DCBA/ CBAD (ccw), it rotates a larger angle in CCW direction than it does in cw direction.

I am new to stepper motors so please let me know if there is anything I should know.

Check to make sure the timing or pause between sequence steps is adequate for the motor.

Hi,

In stepper motor, there are mainly two type of step, full wave step and half wave step. Try with half wave step which has one by half step angle in compare to full wave step.
