Dear friends,

I wish know if somebody have informations concerning performance compariosion of some cores commonly used at embedded systems.
The focus of interest is at following brands :

  • Allwiner A10
  • Intel

Any sugestion ?

I have not info for AllWinner A10 vs Intel,
but Allwinner A10 is not very immpresive chip,
It is a single core processor based on Cortex A8 architecture that runs at 1.5GHz clock speed,
I attach some images from test's...
regards

Hi,

I was a little surprised by this statement about the weak performance of the A10.
As far I know, this core is usually applyed in embedded designs, such as in modern mobile handsets.

In fact, we cannot really assume that a core 32-bit can totally replace one core 64 bit, however my interest is take some comparison between , because I´m not able to estimate the magnitude of this difference in processing power between the Cortex-A8 and X86 ( 1/10? 1/100? 1/1000? ).
