GSM module to 8051 microcontroller

Dear , All

I need to connect Microcontroller 8051 with GSM modem, and send AT commands through 8051.

I did it before , but using a very expensive GSM modem .

so if there is any way to build a small Circuit GSM modem.

it will be difficult to do that....
i think price of GSM module is Rs1500....
according to me it will be efficient to use GSM module....
sim300 module also works fine through UART OF 8051..

sorry , these modules can send sms for long distance , i mean our mobiles using GSM and you can send a sms to your friend in another city or another country , so these ,modules can do it ???

Yes, both modules appear to be the same, capable of SMS and voice transmission and offer either UART TTL or RS-232 connections.

And the second link appears to be considerably less expensive.

A transformer block 5v DC
 
Connections: It is necessary to connect the ground (GND) of the TC35 card to the mass of the Arduino (yellow wire).
 
Then connect the TX port of the TC35 (green wire) to a digital port of the Arduino (here the port 9) card and connect the RX port of the TC35 (blue wire) to the digital port (here 10) map Arduino.
 
ATTENTION: the Leonardo card for RX harbor only pins 8, 9, 10, 11, 14 (MISO), 15 (SCK), 16 (MOSI) can be used. The power of the TC35 should be 5v DC, positive focus. It is necessary to turn on the TC35 card by pressing the left button of the RS232 port, the red LED will flash slowly if everything is ok (valid SIM card)
 
SMS sending Test:
Note: The flow rate should be between 9600 Arduino and TC35, AT commands typed without space. The following program allows you to enter a message in the serial monitor then sends.

just one thing , i have already find the target GSM module on Ebay , and i live in Egypt

My friend told me that they will not permit this module to pass in Customs at the airport , so is it right ??
that's mean if i pay to ebay i will not receive the module :(
