a multi-channel adc analog mux

i'm going to design a multi-channel ADC design ,which architecture should i choose? (SAR ,sigma-delta,pipeline)?

The key parameter is 200MSBP and 8~9bit
thanks

I think pipeline architecture is much better and easier to implement at such speed. But coupling between different channels should be considered as well.

You should use pipeline or folding.

i think both pipeline and folding are qualified for this.
but if it is 200MSBP , is sigma-delta practical under 0.18tech?

Sigma delta is not practical due to the high clock frequency that is needed. Only pipeline or folding.

SAR ,sigma-delta,pipeline are just accroding your spec about speed power bits

consider you device speed, and process .the folding is ok.

traditional sigma-delta converter is not suit for multichannel application because of its latency between input and output

200M 8 ~9bit

You should choice the pipeline ADC

there is 11 channel adc achieved by maxim
it used sar
if u r going to use a multiplexer try to implement it as a break before make mux

According to your spec 200Mhz 8~9bit,
I think fold or pipeline are the choise and the others are not suitable.

pipeline or parallel pipeline architecture is suitable for your specs as 8~9 bits 200 mbps,

May be this attachment helps you. I would suggest pipelined architecture. I do not think that Sigma delta can work for your needs. I am expecting that the signal frequency is atleast 5-10 MHz(Is it Video?)

Maybe the following paper can help you
