Predefined Sounds in electronic PCB's

Hi,

I have seen in baby toys and few other Electronic automation units with predefined sounds and alarms. How to do that, I am totally zero with that information. Can any one provide me information.

For shorter voice/predefined sounds you can use dedicated voice ICs, and for longer sound/voice materials use SD-cards designs or similar.

Today you can find lots of cheap small MP3-player card modules.
