Dear all,

Please anybody tell me where or how to find source resistance of a driver using IBIS model in allegro 16.X.

Thanks in advance.

Hi anand,

Drivers have high resistance in the saturation region. So in order to get a realistic resistance from IBIS models you should concentrate on the linear region of the pull-up and pull-down transistors. In the I-V table of IBIS file locate two points wherein the current-voltage are linear. Then use the below formula to get the resistance ,

R= (V2 -V1)/(I2 - I1)
