sg3525a for full bridge topology.....?

hi,

I am designing 1.4kW dc/dc converter for my application.. I have chosen Full bridge dc/dc converter for my application for isolation needed.
Now i m in portion of selecting PWM controller for my application.. I have chosen general purpose controller SG3525A pwm controller .

Is that controller good for full bridge topology....? frequency = 50kHz

how to configure it for driving 4 mosfets....? we decided to go for pulse transformer,but how to connect it to the output terminal of sg3525a....?

share application notes and ideas as much you know.....?
 

you can down load IR2110 datasheet everything is their for you.
 

The SG3525A can be used for a push-pull type full bridge controller, with some additional external logic. But for such high power levels, most people would opt for a phase shifted full bridge, which requires a different controller.

yes.you are right. But for higher input voltage like 350V,400V input and also for wide range output voltage like 70-300V,the phase shifted full bridge is not optimized one. So that's why,we decided to go with conventional full bridge topology for higher input and wide output... is it right .....?

then for controller portion , the basic level SG3525a is chosen by providing pulse transformer in the output of the controller PWM. But i dont know how to design it.. This is the first time,i am handling four switches topology... any ideas or paper share with me pls...?

if anything wrong in my point ,let me know it...
