[SOLVED] waveform generator for pwm

Hi
i want to generate a 20kHz spwm for an inverter, so i need a 20Khz triangular and a 50Hz sin wave
but i don't now how to generate these waveforms.
anyone can help me please?

This is too easy ! for triangle wave , you can easily use a relaxation oscillator , which is based on CD40106 , schmitt trigger not gate and then take integral from created square wave . thus you'll have triangle wave as well .
For a pure sine wave , there are many options available here ! e.g a wien bridge oscillator or a bubba oscillator .

thanks again Goldsmith, but I think it will be complicated, i mean the inverter circuit will be very complex
actually i want a simple IC or etc. to do that, i tried to use ICL8038 and simulate it in proteus but i didn't succeed,
1.can i generate exactly a 50Hz sine wave with this IC and a 20kHz tri wave? ( if so, would you please help me? give me a circuit schematic or a reference?)
2.is a microcontroler such as atmega16 would be able to make that? (generate both the sine and triangular wave)
3.please tell me if there is an easier way.
 

For generating a triangle/sawtooth wave, you should just use a simple relaxation oscillator using one or two comparators or op amps, or a 555 timer. There isn't a simpler way to do it.

For the sine wave, a waveform generator IC similar to the ICL8038 may work fine. It depends on what kind of precision you need for frequency, THD, and amplitude.

I don't simulate circuits such as that , in a funny , simulator like proteous . why not testing in practice ? in real world ?
Yes as Mtwieg said , that is a good idea to use that IC too
