Hello,I hope that this thread will be helpful for others people.
Now,I’m generating gerber files and they include:

.gtl gerber top layer
.gbl gerber bottom layer
.gts gerber top solder mask
.gto gerber top overlay
… ect
But when I use Cam.350 to create the pdf file,it’s impossible and there are some problems like this :

1.jpg2.jpg3.jpg

And if we can't open with tool-Cam 350.How can we do it ?.

I'm looking forward to receiving your answer.
Have a nice evening.

There is a Gerber Viewer tool from "Pentalogix". Quite good one.
Try googling it. It mus tbe a freeware.

It is nothing to do with the Gerber Viewer. You need to create Gerbers correctly from the host system.
What format of Gerber are you outputting in RS-274_D or RS-274_X.
That is probably what is causingthe undefined aperture problem.
The out of range is caused because your design has negative co-ordinates or your bed size is to large and co-ordinates are outside the bed size set in CAM350, or you are trying to reaqd a metric gerber in as an inperial or visa versa.
I have used CAM350 with Gerber for 20 odd years and never failed to read a gerber in.
Attach your gerber files as .txt then we can determine the format.

I'll say the same as Marce, it sounds like bad Gerbers rather than CAM350 at fault.

Post the faulty file up and we can analyze it and tell you whats wrong.

Hello,

One solution is exporting the gerber like to *.dxf on CAM350 and later use "Any DWG to PDF Converter" software and really.

Regards

I fully agree with marce there is no problem with CAM350 rather you should try to make your import setting in CAM350 same as you gerber setting , like gerber format, import unit (mm or inches) integer places and decimal places etc.

And if you still have problem you can open these file in Altium CAM viewer "CAMtastic" (from extension "gtl, gbl" I believe it is generated protel or altium)

Thanks all,

I found the reason why i didn't open gerber files in Cam.350.10.We should choose " RS274X " in tab-apertures .And when we wanted to export gerber files,we had to choose "RS274X" in tab-format.Because there were RS-274-X ,RS-274 and fire9000 for exporting them ,u should be careful to choose the right tab-"RS-274-X".
Last time,I chose " RS-274". In short, when we were engineers, we must be careful to do our project.

Best regard.

Glad you could find the problem.

Please mark the thread as solved.
