What kind of inductor for DC voltage filter

Hi, my analog preamplifier (opamps connected as signal followers) is powered by symetrical +/- 1.5V DC supply. There is 3m cable between the power supply and the preamplifier. On the preamplifier I have 68uF buffer caps (between power lines and ground) but I would also like to use serial inductor to filter out high frequency noise from the DC. Are there any general recommendations for inductor values I should use or I can just buy a few values and try them with scope ? What kind of inductor would you recommend, e.g. ferrite core ? Thank you for any help.
