I have a National Instruments Digital Electronics FPGA board to play with, I have some experience of verilog but I am just learning.

When initially starting a project in ISE it asks for Device, package and speed. I understand the device to be the Spartan XC32500E but how do I choose package and speed? What actually are these things? I cannot find reference to them in the board user manual.

Which are the best tutorials to get me started with programming the FPGA using ISE? My plan was to just try and write some simple verilog to light LED's with switches but I am stuck at the first hurdle so I guess I should work through some tutorials.

If you can see the FPGA on the board, all information is written on it.
According to XC2500E (I think it is XC3S250E); Family : Spartan 3E, Device : XC3S250E, Package : It is written on FPGA such as PQ208, FT256, Speed : -4, -5 etc.
