How to place layout instances in encounter???

hi...

I have to place layout instances (ex: buffer with pins in, out, vdd,vss) in encounter..I have no netlist regarding these instance..But I have mentioned in LEF files about that instances..What command I can use to place these instances in encounter... If anyone knws help me plz.....

I have to add an analog buffer (layout instance).......which command i can use to add this buffer in specified net????.
 

do u have that buffer footprint in library? what you are looking is at page no 45 in pdf which i have attached.

hi..

I am doing Top level..In that I need to connect the pad with a block in between that I need to add some buffers (which is not a library defined buffer)... The buffer which am going to add is also a block buffer.(designed in virtuoso).... How can I implement this???
