Dear All
Hi
Thank you for your time .
I need an opto coupler , which has a totem pole in it's out put . the frequency of operation is around 10MHZ . and maximum voltage for its totem pole circuit , should be around 20 volts or a bit less . and current around 1 A .
I'll be grateful if any body can help .
Thanks in advance
Goldsmith

I don't know if you're going to find that combination of current and speed. You might need to use a fast opto combined with a discrete output stage.

Dear Barry
Hi
Thank you very much for your reply . can you give me an example about discrete out put stage , please ? are you referring to the externally current driver ? ( totem pole circuit ? ) , if yes , can you introduce me a fast opto coupler ,( for at least 10 MHZ ) , please ? then i have to add an externally current driver .
Thank you very much

Sounds like you are asking for an opto coupled gate driver. There's a number of popular components for this purpose.

Toshiba TLP2200
Avagotech HCPL-3120 and 3180
TI ISO50xx/55xx (capacitive couplers)
more components can be found by major manufacturers or catalog distributors search engines

Using a combination of fast logic couplers with separate output stage (IC or discrete) as suggested by barry may be reasonable though

Dear FvM
Hi
Thank you for your incredible reply . yes you hit to the point ! i want use it as gate driver . thank you for your great informations .
Best Regards

I don't think those devices will run much faster than 1-2MHz.

If those are not proper for my aim , can you suggest better one , please ?

Yes, a good guess. TLP2200 is specified to handle 2.5 MHz. Realistically, gate capacitance dynamic power dissipation will increase too much beyond this limit. You need to go for discrete drivers, if switching gate drivers make sense at all for higher frequencies.

Hi dear FvM
Can you introduce me a high frequency opto coupler , please ? then i know how to increase it's current ability as well .
Thanks
Goldsmith

Look at this one:

Fairchild FOD0710

Also look at Avagotech.com; they have a lot of high-speed optos.

hi
I am using 4n35 optocoupler for 230 volt sensing on micro-controller port . when i bias opto diode by series 100k ohm resistor collector voltage down from 5 v to 2.88. i thing opto diode is not operating fully. please give me solution.
thank you
