Hello,

I am routing a PCB with Altium 10.
Every now and then I want to allow errors so that I can get a “scout” track in.

So how do I “Allow errors”?

In Interactive Routing select the none option in Routing Conflict Resolution as shown in Image below.

You can also search for your queries at https://wiki.altium.com.
This websites has the solution to most of the queries.

unfortunatley , like all the other high end pcb layout packages, the online help and information is pretty poor.
All thats needed is a simple "cal a spade a spade" lesson say to put three resistors in the library then scm than pcb then gerber, but NO pcb layout software does this simple and ohsoneeded thing.

The only one that does do it is eagle, but eagle does not have net ties

Yes you are right but I have not used Eagle so cant comment on it.
From most of the tools I have used I found Altium online help best.
