How do you draw squares in Altium 10 PCB library editor?

-then , when the squares have been drawn, how do you move them by their centre and snap the centre to the centre of the component footprint.

As you know, the component courtyard, is generally square , and this is needed for collision avoidance and to extrude up from to get the 3D collision avoidance/appearance.

Hi,
Select layer top overlay and place line and make square as per drawing details given in datasheet.

yes thanks.....but how do i move the square by its centre and snap the squares centre to the reference point?

Basically what i am asking, is how do i get the "snaps" feature as seen in Cadstar?

Hi,
I have not used cadstar, may be following detail may help you
After finishing placing line set origin to center of component (Edit/set reference to center).

thanks but i find that just sets the reference in between the pads
