[SOLVED] SMD zener identifying problem "PJ53"

I got a zener diod that are shorted in a power supply. I can find out the voltage of it, it's marked with PJ53 and KG, no hits then googling it..

Seems to be correct, it's after a 5V feed from a PS or what do you think?

Yes , I agree with you.usually suppressors used for damping noise effects and surge. please check size of your component and compare with datasheet.
And so this component placed in inverse direction like Zener.
