Suggest a good tutorial to obtain equivalent circuit model especially for SRR, EBG etc. Does some software have the ability to perform such operations

Thanks

Hi snkhan

you can use ansoft HFSS for creating equivalent circuit easily

@Ali110

can you briefly explain how

or any HFSS tutorial for equivalent ciruit model

First model your structure with ansoft hfss.
Run simulation for atleast five sweeps.
Once the simulation is oven view the matrix data (s parameter).
Then export the equivalent circuit (option available with hfss) as .cir or .lib.
This file contains the netlist which could be opened with orcad pspice.
