How to run Matlab on Linux?

I am currently using Linux with Windows (dual boot).
And i use WINE to run windows programs on Linux.

this works fine!

but when I runs the Installation setup of MATLAB with WINE on linux.

It doesnt works !
Need help!!!!!!!!!!:!::!::!:
 

Maybe you could try Scilab or Octave instead.

using Sage is an other option. It works more or less the same as Matlab. Its an opensource software.

You can try use native linux version matlab. Linux platform is supported.
 

Does that mean Matlab doesnt runs on linux?

Matlab Has Linux versions .

IF you are looking for some free alternatives

Scilab ,Octave and Sage are good options


I recommend Scilab or Octave

I have run to Linux computer which i accessed remotely via putty. I have Matalab installed and i have long run for Matalab in there. I can run interciticly Matalab on the putty window, but if i shut it down it will kill the Matalab.
