Here is a new version of power inverter circuit, 12VDC to 220VAC & 1000W with over load and short circuit protection, low battery alarm, surge power 1500W
PCB and Gerber files but no Schematic.

this is only the layout
why no schematic and pcb?
please give the schematic and pcb for the benefit of all
is there a 500W version?

hello Kg300,
do u feel the circuit provided is sine wave/modified sine wave or some else,
thanks

pnjbtr,
you hve' only mentioned the inverter with ka7500 or tl494.what does it mean? is it a choice for one to use tl494 or instead ka7500 and moreover u also mentioned two tl494 and two ka7500 in yours parts list ,what's meaning,it is very confusable.plz explain somwhat.

Yes TL494 and KA7500,are pin compatible (same).
As you see in schematic only 2 ics are being use.(in parts list is a mistake).
Schematic is complete, but i did not try it.
I download it from 8085projects.info.
Out power is 200watts.
High frequency transformer(chopper) is EI-33.
EI is shape and 33 is size,33mm.
This inverter, in fact is a dc to dc converter(dc 12 to dc 260v).
Primary stage is in push pull configuration, center tapped winding is being use.
Second stage is in full bridge configuration, which convert 260v dc into 220v ac.

The only difference between these two devices is:
TL494 can Sink or Source 500mA output current.
KA7500 has a capability of 200mA.

Sink = Output with reference ground.
Source = Output with reference to Source (Supply +ve).

The circuits shown here are good for repairs purposes but not for designing or producing, as the transformer details are not provided.

pnjbtr,
I have the calculator for ferrite cor trafo designer and am producing some SMPS for some of my projects. I was talking about general users, as do expect every one can not go for it. Anyways thanks for the links.

Here is the circuit. The oscillator based on SG3525 but u can use tl494, and lm339 with lm342. Add more power FET's to get more power.

A very simple 500W inverter

This circuit has ambiguities, as the output transistors are supplied 12 volts juts through 1N4007 (1000 V, 1 A diode) as shown in Red color arrows. And the High volts 400 volts is not connected any where but just the feed back. Missing some connections. Good for reference or repair purposes where as the PCB shows proper tracks connected to the Drains of IRF740.

will any one tell us details about the transformer used in this circuit...? such as primary turns ? secondary turns ? transformer core size ? and wire size ...etc..

the details of the ferrite core transformer is on the circuit diagram
given in post#14
3T+3T primary bifilar
and 65T secondary on E40 size core
this circuit is commonly used in Chinese commercial inverters
and the output is a modified sine wave which gives minimum
humming noise in ceiling fans run by this type of inverter

primary =3+3 turns of 6 lits(join 6 wires) of SWG 22.
Secondary = 66 turns of swg 23.
core size is EI=40 mm.
Wattage of transformer depend upon switching frequency.

Mr Raza and other do u have any calculator to find the Ferrite Core Transformer Turns and Wire guage to design my own switch mode supplies. i m new in switch mode power supply design actually the image shown in post no 16 is a 12 Volt Battery charger circuit but i want to know about the turns ratio used in this image transformer T1 and as well as T2 and also know about the Transistor Numbers and diode numbers. i have required detail information how to wind a ferrite core transformer. please help me .
