can any one check my lm2576 circuit? can anyone suggest what better i can do? i wanted to get as smooth as possible 5v dc supply. i will be using this circuit in vehicles/automobiles.
Your circuit seems pretty good one.Have you checked its output with oscilloscope .If you read less than 5mV ripples, then your supply will be excellent.I think no need to improve it it will work properly.Regards
From your configuration, I assume you're using the the adjustable version LM2576-ADJ. Looks OK. If you want a really smooth output, You could add an extra L-C filtering stage at the output.
Hi my friend!
You can use a 10uf capacitor , from your out put to pin4 ( it used for all of the high ripple rejection ratio power supplies.)
And remember that your inductor should have gap space .

Dear Friend!
Gap space , means that you create the gap road on the core of your inductor to avoiding from core saturation to make sure that it's working is as well as and at linear region.
