what is meant for signal integrity analysis.. how signal integrity analysis on ddr2 memory interface..i need to work some work on si on ddr2 memory interface.so give some reference paper related to si analysis on ddr2 memory interface..

signal integrity means exactly what the name implies...it's the integrity or "quality" of a signal.

Suppose you generate a perferct square wave signal on your PCB.
By the time the signal reaches it's destination it won't be perfect anymore. This may be becaused by improper termination, high rise and fall times, EMI, crosstalk, etc...

You have to take care of the problem, or else the "payload" of the signal may get corrupted. Sometimes, signal integrity problems can cause permament damage to the hardware...
