Hi, I have measured several sets of data using a Vector Network Analyzer, and my data is in S-parameters format. How can I draw a standard deviation plot in ADS software based on my data?
Do you think this model works?

It seems that the resistive power combiner sums the signals from each input port and deliver the resulting combined signal to the output port.
So does it mean that if I have a y...
What is your suggestion?
Sorry If I have not explained it very clearly, as I am new in this field.
I want to apply a 1V and 1MHz signal while sweeping a frequency from 300kHz to 6GHz. How can I do that?
Thank you for the response, but I need to apply two inputs one from signal generator and one from VNA.
To clarify, here is the video in which we do the signal modulation for one port of the VNA. As you can see we are sweeping the frequency from low to high (300kHz to 6GHz) meanwhile we are...
Hi, in the following video, you can see a signal modulation. we are sweeping a frequency range from 300kHz to 6GHz by VNA meanwhile applying 1V and 5kHz signal from signal generator to the bias tee built in the VNA.
Unfortunately, if I increase the 5kHz signal from the signal generator the bias...
I want to sweep the frequency from 300kHz to 6GHz by VNA.
Right now I checked the 1v and 1MHz signal connecting to the bias tee of the VNA, and it seems it filters the signal (I checked it with an oscilloscope).
it successfully can transfer 1v and 5kHz but it is not enough for me. Do you think...
Thank you very much for your response. I want to apply 1MHz and 1V signals using a signal generator with a Minicircuit bias tee built into the eVNA.
https://www.minicircuits.com/WebStore/Vector-Network_Analyzer.html
Do you think it would be ok if I use the eVNA bias tee itself instead of a...
We are trying to apply 1MHz and 1V signals using a signal generator, through one port of bias tee.
I just wanted to check whether this is possible because usually, people use a bias tee with a DC signal.
Dear @volker@muehlhaus
Thank you very much for your help and your helpful response.
Based on your recommendation and your uploaded file in the previous comment I Used the following Scematic based on my design:
Here my new question might be look silly, but would you please tell me where...
@volker@muehlhaus
Thank you very much for your solution. You are very good at it. One other question:
What if I have 80 separate S parameter files how can I average all of these files in ADS? Should I define a separate s2p file for all of them or is there any easier way to do that? Can I get...
Hi,
i measured 100 S2P parametres by Vector Network Analyzer (VNA), and now I want to have an average of these 100 data in ADS, What should I do? Should I define SnP parameter like below for each of them? or is there any easier way availble? any suggestion appreciated.
@volker@muehlhaus Thank you very much for your help. I really appreciate it. Would you also please tell me how can I calculate and plot the permittivity? Does it have any specific function in ADS?
@PlanarMetamaterials @volker@muehlhaus
Thank you very much for your guidance, it was very helpful.
Would you please tell me how can I show capacitance, permittivity, RealZ, and ImageZ based on S-parameters as well?
