Rolf Horn

I have been in the European Technical Support group since May 2014 with primary responsibility for answering any Development and Engineering related questions from final customers in EMEA, as well as writing and proof-reading German articles and blogs on DK’s TechForum and maker.io platforms. Prior to DigiKey, I worked at several manufacturers in the semiconductor area with focus on embedded FPGA, Microcontroller and Processor systems for Industrial and Automotive Applications. I hold a degree in electrical and electronics engineering from the university of applied sciences in Munich, Bavaria (Dipl.-Ing. FH) and started my professional career at a local Electronics Products Distributor as System-Solutions Architect to share my steadily growing knowledge and expertise as Trusted Advisor.

Hobbies: spending time with family + friends, travelling in our Citroën Jumper based Clever 540 tour small RV motorhome, VW California Beach transporter and motorbiking on my 1988 BMW GS 100, my wife’s 1989 BMW GS 80-100, KTM R690 Enduro and/or my brand new DUCATI Hypermotard 698 Mono.
