Hi experts
I'm facing a problem , working on a dimmer circuit with IR remote .
Microcontroller atmega328P
Arduino ide for programming. Two interrupts for zero cross detection on ext int and IR receiver on PCINT.
Remote control is Nec bsed . My circuit works ok for some days and after than IR...
I have input capacitors but don't have TVS diode across IGBT ?

Do i need to replace 1200 volt IGBT with 1700 volt IGBT?

Where to install TVS diode across emitter to Collector?
Hi experts
I have problem , I am designing a buck converter input is 900 volt DC and out put is 384 volt DC . Using TLP350 Driver with 18 / -5 volt .
My problem is that when i exceed input voltage greater than 800 volt igbt burnt with gate to emitter shorted a gate to collector also .
I am...
Ya i have been working on electronics from 4 years , i have developed solar charge controllers , 12/24/48 volt battery charger and a lot more .... But this experience is very different from previous one ? First time dealing with transformer less power supply or switching mode power supply ?
I...
40 Amp is total (charging + load of power drawn) . It is single phase system . And isolation transformer is not available with me so is it dangerous to use a non-isolated supply ? I googled but did not find any circuit of 120 V battery bank charger ?

Thank you Klaus for...
AC input voltage 220 - 240 V
Current rating 40 A maximum
frequency 50 - 60 Hz
batteries are lead acid , and power will be drawn from an inverter while charging batteries .
One thing more can i use half wave rectifier and than filter it using capacitors to take an average value dc ?
Hi
friends i am working on 120 volt battery charger , it should be transformer less . Can any one suggest me any schematic ?
I am to charge 10 batteries bank in series ? It is urgent please
Hi
Friends i want to make an power supply of 120 V . I rectified 220 AC and used a buck converter after it to bring down voltage to 120 V . Now if i put a load on it its voltage come down and can't drive load . Where can be problem ?
One thing more , this set up is used for solar charge controller , so there is large current 50A plus .... Do you think this is may be due to field created by high current ? If yes than how can i compensate?
ya i am doing it regularly ? But no effect

Suggest me if i use buffer like CD4050 between lcd and micro controller than what will be the effect ?
