Hi all,
I need to design a bias circuits which can reject RF from going to the DC supply without cause niticeable insertion loss at the signal line. The operating frequency is from 1 MHz to 3 GHz. Can anyone suggests some idea how this can be done? Thank you.
Linda.
Re: about ku band mixer
You can also use an FET to make a mixer at Ku band. This is common for DBS LNB. Device you can use, as an example, www.cel.com NE3210S01.

I think he means noise figure be less than 2dB. Noise figure is one of the most important figure of merir for low noise amplifier. It is defined as the 10log of the ratio of output signal to noise to input signal to noise ratio. If it is 0 dB, then the signal to noise ratio at the input and...
Re: High pass filter
High pass filter in general is not easy to make, however, waveguide itself is a high pass filter so it is easier in waveguide strcuture to realize a high pass.

Dear Driends,
Where can I find these books? Wenzel & Horton synthesis, NYJ Book (Mathaei), as well as the italian proffesors paper? Thanks.

Re: ne321000 nonlinear model
NEC does have the ADS model for most of their devices. Go to www.cel.com and download the ads design kit, it should have what you need. This download is a new addon.
Good luck.
Linda. :) :)
Re: ne321000 nonlinear model
Basically you just use the number in the libral and insert them into the ADS model, and they work, and that's what I mean.
Linda.
Re: ne321000 nonlinear model
Check with www.cel.com/eng/eng_models.asp and down load the parameters and fill these numbers in the ads tom's model. then you have it.
