There is two type of poly resistors which is Salicided N+ poly resistor (npolyf_s) and Salicided P+ poly resistor (ppolyf_s). about the connection i couldn't able to find out. anyone can help me.
thank you
Hi,
now i designing differential mixer. so there are two input node and each node designed to 50ohm input matching. when i do matching each node i connected to 2 differences port and made adjustment to get 50 ohm. but i got saw few thesis the input matching did by connecting each input...
Why in simulation by using Cadence, even a simple basic mixer also showing very high value. There is any setting or consideration? bcos in most of Journals they can achieve NF below 15dB, i have been tried many ways but NF can not achieve below 18dB. Please anyone help me.
Thanks advance.
Hi
I designing wideband mixer in cadence software. In plotting graph conversion gain versus Rf frequency, IF is always kept at a constant one value while RF and LO frequencies are changed together with LO being 100MHz lower than the RF. How is possible? anyone can guide me
thank you
In order to design sub-harmonic mixer, the different phases are generated through RC-CR network in simulation. The only purpose using rc-cr network to generate different phases LO signal? if answer is yes, then single-stage RC filter is adequate?
thank you
In designing rfic architecture, which inductor and capacitor have to use. since there is many varity of capacitor and inductor available in cadence.
thank you
Ii got read in one book, the writer mention that not necessary to maintain minimum length of transistor in order to get flat Id. anyone can explain this.
Ok. Thank you. I look through everything first. It seem like good material and idea. One more doubt, some time in between the current mirror they placing high resistance. The function of those resistance?
If we need to bias different voltages in different places at mixer, anyone one can give any picture or idea how to design current mirror for that. Normally when designing mixer can place many current mirrors? since need to bias place different voltages i having problem in headroom voltage. i...
hi
i having problem in finding out whether the fixed IF output it clipping or not through cadence software. The IF output voltage should be in range between max and min swing signal in order to avoid from clip. but how we can check it?
thank u
