Hi
For some years ago i designed a PWM board with simple components, to demonstrate the basic principle for generating a PWM signal. The board was a part of a complete DC motor controller build from scratch.
The input voltage range is not what you describe, but you can make a few changes to...
Hi all
I have a problem with a glass capsul 134.2kHz RFID tag. One of my very good friends have, by mistake, put a wrong RFID tag in his wifes new born special horse. The wife is very very extreemely mad about this, so my friend have asked if i could deactivate (zap) the tag.
So far i have...
Hi again
To measure whatever there is 24V or not (meaning 0V) it should be fine to use the same circuit and connect it to a digital input. It is just very important that the 24V have the same reference (GND) as the MCU.
If the maximum voltage at the battery is 14V i would replace R1 with a...
Hi
I would use a voltage divider with a capacitor for noise reduction and a zener diode for safety reasons.
I have tried to upload a picture for a simple schematic
The schematic is for a 5V MCU, and if You need to measure higher voltages than 24V, you can replace R1 with a bigger value. The...
Hi
The way of smoothening could be done with a simple RC-filter. I don't know your switch frequence, but i usually use a Tau (R*C) of at least 5 times the period. I usually use 10 times, this gives better smoothening.
If the switch frequence is 500 Hz (PWM from Arduino) and the resistor is a...
Hi
A bleeder resistor is a normal resistor that, most often, is connected in parallel with a high voltage DC capacitor, or capacitor battery. This ensures that the voltage on the capacitors is discharged fast, when power is disconnected. A common situation could be a service on a UPS, where the...
Hi
The ULN2803 (and others in this family) are a very simple way to connect load to a MCU. The inputs should have 0V for OFF and 5V for on. The positive side of your loads shold be connected to your positive power supply (could be 12V) and the other end (negative) of your load should be...
Hi again
Thank you for Your answer.
I have been looking on this. It is two different outputs, so how can they be mutual exclusive?
I thought these two lines could be the reason for the error:
But again, why should the .d exclude the .OE?
Friendly regards

Hi again
Now i can use the D-FF, so You hit the nail straight on :-)
But now something new appeared.
The code:
/* *************** INPUT PINS *********************/
/*PIN 1 = CLK ; */
PIN 2 = Out_E ;
PIN 3 = Data_in ;
/* *************** OUTPUT PINS *********************/
/*PIN 18 =...
Hi
If I was You, I would use a simple voltage divider. This asures that the voltage is 3.3V to the input, with no problems.
I suggest a 1k8 resistor in series with a 3k3 resistor. This gives You a current of apprx. 1 mA. There are other solutions, but this is a very simple, cheap and well...
Hi
I have more than 500 pcs. of unused PALCE20v8 and want to use them for some projects.
I use Atmels WinCUPL and have made some combinatoric projects, which works great.
But i have trouble getting the internal D-FFs to work. For some reason i can not compile, when i try with a registered...
