George Metaxas was born in Athens in 1976. He holds a MEng degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and a MSc degree in Electronics and Telecommunications from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He is currently working for a Greek RF electronics OEM company as an RF Hardware Design Engineer. His interests include PCB design and assembly, hardware prototyping and testing and embedded programming in C/C++. He is a licensed Radio Amateur under the callsign SV1DEQ since 1994. George is a professionally licensed Electrical Engineer and member of the Technical Chamber of Greece since 2002 and a member of the UK Chapter of the IPC Designers Council since 2015..
