IDEA ON THE POST: Different transformer output voltage can be used in the design and the variable resistor be used to fine turn the required voltage. Do not forget to add fuse at the output and test with DMM to be sure of the voltage
My idea here is that: Reverse Polarity can be done using Diode. By rectifying the input with a full bridge rectification, before using N- Channel MOSFET to ensure full flow of current at the right polarity and to avoid diodes voltage. Thanks
No you cannot wire the shower coil directly to the AC from the house.
1. you wound it around a 4x4 piece of wood which will burn the wood and the wire.
2. The resistance of the wire will be too low to withstand the AC supply
use 5V SMP and connect inductor at the input and output of the power supply to the FM transmitter and the Hum noise will disappear. meanwhile i hope you are not powering from a square wave source?
