[Hi all,
One more doubt.Whether there is any constraint for gain in circuits using CMFB?... We wanted to design an amplifier for a gain of 66dB.Is it possible?
Thanks.

Hi,
VCM is set to VDD/2 itself, which is 2.5V.... Attached is the complete circuit...
It is an open loop continuous time amplifier... We have a cascode stage at the output for high gain. Is there any constraint on gain for CMFB. If we design circuit for high gain, then CMFB is not...
Thanks.
But somehow this is not working for us. Dont know why.. When connecting it back to the Differential circuit, output is driven to close to 5V or 0V. Supply of the circuit is 5V and so VCM is set to 0V. What do we do.. What can be tried to get the output. Please help.
Regards,
abdj
Hi all,
Wanted to design a CMFB circuit for an open loop continuous time voltage amplifier... Could anyone help us by a commonly used CMFB circuit.. We are using a 180nm library with supply tied to 5V. So the VCM for the CMFB is 2.5V. Please help us with a suitable circuit and its design...
Hi,
We were trying to simulate sinc3 filter in matlab simulink. Basically sinc3 filter consists of 3 integrators followed by 3 differentiators. Each integrator & differentiators are designed using a DFF and a summer. We have modeled it in simulink, but while trying to run it, we are getting...
Hi,
We are trying to design a Delta Sigma ADC. As you might know, Delta Sigma ADC consists of a Delta Sigma Modulator and a filter. We have designed the Delta Sigma modulator using Hspice tool and now we want to design the Sinc3 filter using MATLAB. Could you kindly help us in understanding and...
Hi,
We are designing few circuits in Hspice using Level 49 Library model for 180nm technology. We would like to know if we can measure the flicker, thermal, shot noises of the circuit using HSPICE.
We know there is a .NOISE command using which we can calculate noise, but we are not sure of...
Re: transconductance parameter
Hi Erikl,
Thanks a lot for the info. We were able to design the circuits using the 180 nm library Level 49 ( where Kp= 72.2 µA/V2 , Kn= 342.4µA/V2)
We have another query regarding the noise analysis . Can you please guide us on the steps we should follow to...
Re: transconductance parameter
Thanks erikl,
We have few more doubts. We are not at all familiar with mos libraries and hence facing a lot of trouble in simulating circuits. Circuit details given below. Could you please share a mos hspice model library you are using which is working correctly...
Re: transconductance parameter
Hi,
Thanks a lot.
So for this model, we should take Kn = 171.2u and Kp = 36.1u right?
Actually Kn = µnCox, where Cox we can calculate as εsi/Tox. Tox is available in the library. But how can we take the µn value. There is a U0 value in the library. Is this...
Hi,
We are trying to simulate some circuits using Hspice. We have used Level 49 model which we got from net. But, from the model, we are not able to find out the device transconductance parameters (Kn = µnCox and Kp = µpCox). Please help us in finding the value so that we could design the...
Re: transconductance parameter
Hi,
Can you share the whole library model for nmos and pmos specified below. We see that NMOS is full, but pmos is not described fully here. Could you please share it for us to do some experiments and also the Kp and Kn values you have computed for this library...
