AGC addon for a basic LM386 amp circuit

Is there a simple way to add AGC functionality to this simple LM386 circuit?

Thanks.

Edit: The title should read LM386, not LM358. Unable to change the thread title.

A simple AGC circuit around a regular OP (LM358), can be used with LM386 as well.

Thanks. Now if only I could read that handwriting. :)

It has been used as shown in an intercom circuit. But you should take it as a principle schematic. Dimensioning to be adapted to your application, e.g. check in a simulation.

Thanks. I am just having difficulty reading the values of the components, especially the capacitor values.

Electrolytic capacitors are 1µ/35V and 47µ/3V. And there's a 470p ceramic cap.
