It is a tester of electronic components. It consists of a typical system on Atmega8. This version was based on the design from: **broken link removed**.
Removable LCD was applied (it can be also used in other projects). The system uses stabilizer 7805 (current 100mA). The LCD backlight supply is also taken from it. But if it heats up too much, put a piece of aluminum pipe on it as a heat sink. Tester consumes 105mA with backlight at 9V.

Tester can also be used for RC measurement. Resistance from 1ohm to 1Mohm. Pictures:

Tester is stable and recognized triacs and thyristors, but it also sometimes makes mistakes. The speed of the test of next components does not affect its performance. The test result on the LCD does not disappear even after a few minutes and it does not matter whether the tested component is in the cradle or not.
