It is a construction, which can be made of a fridge compressor. This useful device – painting compressor is easy to make and a lot of similar designs can be found on the Internet. The main assumption of this project was to create a silent and efficient compressor of small size. It can be useful when you learn how to paint using aerograph and when you want to clean dirty car elements by purging. You will need an old powder extinguisher, for example 6kg.

The following picture shows an aggregate from an old fridge with soldered tube and manometer.

Another component required for presented here design is a pressure switch. It was disassembled from a small hydrophore. If it is not precise enough, it is better to use a normal compressor switch.
Other components:
  • 15mm tubing
  • couplings
  • elbows
  • tees
  • drier with pressure regulator

This compresor maintains 2,5atm when painting with aerograph and operates silently.
