hello all,
please i have a problem that i need help.
Here is the question:
Record your voice in wav format. Feed it through a signal generator and simulate. Plot an FFT on MATLAB using the output from the simulation.

I have been able to record a voice in wav format and feed it to an audio generator and then the FM input of a signal generator. I can view the waveform with an oscilloscope during simulation. But i am stomped on how to export the simulation output to MATLAB and then to plot the Fast Fourier transform thereafter.

please, any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

P.S:attached is a screenshot of my proteus ISIS.

why are you doing the FM modulation in Proteus? can't you make it only in matlab?
or why don't you use the FFT analyse in Proteus BTW.

Thank you for your suggestion.
I am very new to proteus and do not know much about its capabilities.

As regards the above question, it would be nice to run the simulation and plot the FFT on a single platform (whether proteus isis or matlab), but the question is an assignment and we are required to answer accordingly.

Is there a way to use the output from a proteus simulation in matlab? I am lost at this junction.

I would also be greatful for any help on how to plot the FFT in proteus.

Thanks.

having problems plotting fast Fourier transform for my circuit. showing error AC analysis not supported, simulation could not start, simulation failed to start, simulation failed due to fatal errors.
