It is a modification of router. The device was developed with 1 Wire interface and serial port in standard RS232, but there are also outputs for an ordinary UART.
Router can collect data from the sensors of meteorological station and present them on website.
The board can be sued in any router with two serial ports.
In the connector minidin 8 there are derived signals RS232 (positive and negative voltages) and directly UART. E.g. a mobile phone can be connected without any adapters.
There is also power supply 5V or 12V depending on the location of the switch in minidin.
The system for support of 1 Wire is DS2480B powered by 5V from the stabilizer, which can be connected to the power supply of the router. Current consumption is about 50mA. Another stabilizer to power 12V if used EEPROM on 1 Wire can be soldered optionally. Jumpers should be set properly.
Additionally, a diode protecting against the ESD was added.
MAX232 was used to convert UART to RS232.
Mass, 1 Wire and 5V in the connector RJ11 are standard.
Software works on Openwrt 10.3 with a 2.4 kernel with installed owfs. Owfs is a very useful project, it provides the access to the sensors through the file system. If you have 2.6 kernel, you can skip the mknod.
It is good to move the ports forward outside the edge of the board about 2mm. Approximately the thickness of the plastic housing.

Code:
mknod /dev/fuse c 10 229*
owfs -d /dev/tts/1 /mnt/owfs/
