It's a processed simple laminator. It was improved so now it can act as proffesional laminator for PCB and it can be used instead of iron in thermotransfer method.
The driver is excellent for this purpose. It has switched temperatures 110 degrees Celsius for foil and 190 degrees Celsius for PCB plates. Temperature sensor is diode 1n4148. The choice of the temperature is made by a plane switch in the right side of the device. The heating can also be switched off in order to cool the rollers. It can be done by a big black button.
Diodes dhow the state of the device:
  • the first one - red means heating up the rollers
  • the second one – orange means power supply
The laminator is also equipped with the change of sheet/PCB velocity. The switch is situated in the left side.
The elements were originally made of a resistant to high temperature material, so, after processing, they were easily resistant to the temperature of even 190 degrees Celsius. The housing doesn't melt. The front panel was made in MS Word.
Elements needed:
  • laminator
  • driver
  • other things
