I have a 2465 Tektronix oscilloscope with the following problem: in the bottom of the screen shows a row of dots. As many know, the manual says they are due to an error in the calibration constants are stored in the EAROM. As I set out to work, to recalibrate. I had no problems with CAL-01, CAL-03 and CAL-04. However, I can’t complete CAL-02 (VERTICAL) because when I get to paragraph i) in all steps of calibration of channel 1 (from 113 to 120), and when I get to paragraph v) in all steps calibration of channel 2 (from 123 to 130) I get the message LIMIT. I thought it might be a problem with reading the EAROM and changed the chip, but after recalibration the error persists. By the way, I checked all TEST passing without error. The only problem with the oscilloscope is the vertical cursors reading is wrong, while the distance between slices to measure the amplitude of the signals is correct. What can I do to disappear the dots and cursors measure is OK?.
Can anyone help me out?
Thank you very much in advance
