hey guys
after compilation When I searched for “ . hex file” in the project folder it showed me “ . C Object file”
Is it the same as HEX, should I download this file to my chip??
Will it work ?

Re: HEX file in CCS C

No, you can download to microcontroler just HEX or BIN files.
At IDE, go to MENU > OPTIONS > FILE FORMATS > OBJECT FILE
And mark : 8 bit Hex
