Mobile Phone and Nokia 6210

nokia dlr-3p pinout

Hi

I have decided to start again by learning to use hyperterminal in order to transmit AT command to Nokia 6210 via DLR-3P cable. Furthermore I use the tutorial - Nokia 6210 support guide for Send,receive and read sms with terminal program and nokia 6210.

So far I have entered United Kingdom, then I am not sure about area code, I leave empty blank in phone number and finally I have selected com 1. The problem is that I have two com ports in my PC and I am not sure which one is connected to my cable.

I kept receiving errors in my terminal window.

Can anyone point out any mistake that I have made?

Hello Again.

if you have a desktop. COM1 is in Left position.
If you have a tower. the Com1 is the upper Connector.
have u choosed the Correct , Speed , parity , ect ?

Do you want Mbus command ?

I have found my mistake as I need to change 9600 bauds and it works now. Yes please I would like to have MBUS command.

6210 nokia+at commands

please help me about my project... my project is a door lock system for 8 users only.. using their PINs, they can open the door... my problem is how can i control the nokia 6210 to send an SMS once the door is open... if user1 opened the door, the phone will send an SMS to the recipient informing him that user1 had open the door

That's what I am trying to learn but I am struck at the moment. Basic I need to know how to send sms to Nokia 6210 in order to activate electronic motor. Furthermore I need to how to get the temp reading from Nokia 6210 with thermistor.

So I require to use AT command or MBUS command?

The MBUS commands above seem sooo complex. I need someone to explain where the number comes from.

Hi,

I need help about AT Commands on 6210,
when I type AT+CPBR=1 it returns
+CBR:1,"",129,"Name", why is it the phone number not showing.
